  11. These demo fonts are in both Type 1 and TrueType format.  Install the Type 
  12. 1 font using the ATM Control Panel.  Install the TrueType font using the 
  13. Fonts control panel in Microsoft Windows 3.1.

  15. The character set of both fonts is "ABC123*". The asterisk is used as the 
  16. start and stop bar in Code 39. To print a sample bar code type "*ABC123*" 
  17. and then format that string in the Code 39 font set at 36 points.

  19. These sample fonts are from C39Tools, our Code 39 font package for the PC 
  20. and Macintosh computers.  C39Tools for the PC include both TrueType and 
  21. Type 1 fonts.  Code 39 is the standard symbology used for inventory, 
  22. identification and tracking.  All popular bar code scanners can read Code 39 
  23. labels.
